How to
hire a Disc Jockey
7 questions to ask your DJ
- What happens in an emergency?
Ask some "what if's". What if a speaker blows? Your DJ should have backup gear on-site or on call if you don't want
your event to come to a screeching halt. What if your DJ gets sick
the day of your event, there's intense weather, or the power goes
out? A professional DJ will be ready for most every contingency.
- Is dance floor lighting
available? You don't have to go full-on "Saturday Night
Fever" to make an event elegant and exciting with dance floor
lighting. Sometimes one or two effects like some color spotlights
or a classic mirror ball can add fun and
encourage people to dance. Ask if there are any special packages
that include lighting.
- Will your DJ bring a wide
variety of music? Many parties have guests of a wide variety of ages, your DJ
should have the maturity, knowledge and experience to have on hand
and mix the music all your guests will enjoy...
not just the DJ's personal favorites. .
