7 Questions to ask your DJ
- How does your DJ handle song requests?
For special requests such as wedding first dance songs, let your DJ
know at least 2 weeks in advance. Most professional
DJ's carry 5,000 or more songs to each event. Confirm that your DJ will be playing clean "radio versions" of
hit songs with offensive words edited out. Don't
offend your guests!
- How interactive should your DJ
be? No one likes an overbearing cheesy DJ. But a tasteful level of interactivity and
emcee skills can enhance most events and keep the crowd energized
and entertained. For events like weddings, make sure your DJ has a
strong emcee voice for your grand entrance, toasts, first dance
and other announcements.
